COFFEE AND CRAFTING
Each month we will be exploring the story behind a beautifully crafted object in the Museum’s collection. Then we will help you start your own craft project inspired by the object and at the end of the workshop you have a goody bag of materials to take home and keep crafting!

Bring Your Family Fun to Life at the Museum!
Looking for a great way to entertain the kids (and yourself!) for a few hours? Head over to the Museum for our FREE Craft Sessions—a perfect way to unleash your family’s creativity!
Join us from 1pm every weekday and 10am every Saturday whenever the Museum is open. No booking required—just show up and dive into the fun! We’ve got everything you need, from materials to easy-to-follow instruction sheets, all ready for you to jump in and start creating.
Make memories, make art! Whether you’re crafting masterpieces or just enjoying quality time, there’s something for every family to love. Important: These activities are self-led, so bring your imagination (and an adult!) along for the ride. Children must be supervised at all times.
In May, create Bonkers Bookmarks! Make your very own bookmark and turn reading into an adventure! With just a bit of paper, some craft materials and your imagination, you can create a fun and colourful way to keep your place in any book.

Step into a world of discovery with Lizzie and Harry as your guides! They are here to lead your family on an epic journey through the Museum—full of fun, puzzles, and surprises.
In May – Fabulous Flowers!
Lizzie and Harry are blooming with excitement as they hide around the Museum among a trail of beautiful May flowers! 🌸🌼 Each flower has a different meaning and they are all different colours…
Match the flowers to their colours and solve the Springtime Puzzle. Once you’ve found them all, bring your trail to the Museum’s Reception to collect your lovely prize!
Keep a lookout — Lizzie and Harry could be nestled anywhere around the Museum… They might be high above, low to the ground, or tucked into a secret spot. Happy flower finding! 🌷🕵️♀️💐
